DR/P Cafe baristas are back for weekend service
After being caffeine-free for two years due to the pandemic, DR/P Cafe at 50 Central Street is reopening on weekends only to serve coffee, espresso drinks, specialty lattes, teas and beverages from specialty like the Golden Girl + Iced Coco Matcha. The showcase is part of the B/SPOKE cycle, the study of strength and yoga, which has been fully operational for some time now.
The cafe’s doors open on Saturday, June 18, so drop by and give it a try.
Between DR/P returning to the drinks game and Starbucks reopening its Wellesley Square location earlier this spring after closing for several months due to a staff shortage, it seems like the days when it was impossible to finding an early morning cup of coffee in Wellesley Square is behind us.
New England Breast & Wellness held its grand opening earlier this month to show off its office and exam rooms at 422 Worcester Street, Suite 202, Wellesley. You know the building, it’s the one in front of Marathon Sports, up the hill.
The office is done up in restful pastels, with eye-pleasing abstract artwork. Exam rooms are spacious, spotless, well-lit and private.

A physician who believes in empowering patients through education, Dr. Calvillo spoke to attendees about cancer risks, screenings, same-day genetic testing, breast cancer coaching and navigation , exercise oncology, and more.
Wellesley Square landscape survey underway
The Wellesley Select Board, in conjunction with the city’s traffic committee, has begun to assess the streetscape features of Wellesley Square. The review included general conditions and potential reconstruction. Concept plans will be posted at 50 and 74 Central Street starting June 17.
