Schreiber was seen on the Boston set wearing a crisp white shirt with the first two buttons unbuttoned and no tie.

He had a black suit coat over the shirt and matching black pants with shiny black moccasins as he walked down the street.

The actor was all busy, apparently in a hurry, as he carried a small tablet with him as he filmed the scene.

Schreiber will not only return to star in the feature film, but he will also co-write the screenplay with showrunner David Hollander, who will direct.

Jon Voight will also return from the original series, which will also reprise his role as Ray’s father, Mickey Donovan, as well as Kerris Dorsey as Ray Bridget’s daughter.

The new movie will pick up immediately where Season 7 left off, with “Mickey in the wind and Ray determined to find him and stop him before he can cause more carnage.”

“And so, for them, we are delighted that Liev and David are creating an exciting new chapter in this iconic series,” he added.
